About Us

Overview

The Community Home Organization (CHO) is a non-profit, non-denominational, and apolitical association based in Yaoundé, Cameroon. Established in 2019, the CHO is dedicated to empowering and supporting youth, women, and vulnerable groups.

Our Association is dedicated to empowering and supporting vulnerable Cameroonian youth, women, and men by providing

  • – Comprehensive support: Educational resources, vocational training, legal aid, healthcare services, and financial assistance.
  • – Self-sufficiency: Promoting initiatives that enable individuals to become self-reliant and sustainable.
  • – Community development: Contributing to the overall well-being and development of vulnerable communities.

The Objectives

In the quest to attain its aim, the association shall be guided by the following objectives:

– Promote mental health and well-being: Address mental stress and provide support services to individuals in need.

– Combat poverty and inequality: Implement programs to alleviate poverty and create opportunities for economic empowerment.

– Build capacity and skills: Provide training and resources to enhance the skills and capabilities of individuals and communities.

– Foster entrepreneurship: Support young entrepreneurs through training, mentorship, and funding opportunities.

– Promote gender equality and equity: Advocate for gender equality and combat gender-based violence.

– Protect human rights: Uphold and defend human rights for all individuals, regardless of their background or circumstances.

– Strengthen communities: Foster community development and social cohesion.

– Improve labor relations: Promote positive relationships between employers and employees and advocate for fair labor practices.

Our Mission
